Our Family

  • Christine

Hi! I’m Christine, the lead baker of Daniella’s Dandies. When I found out I had celiac disease I was devastated. I love sweets and had never met a gluten-free treat I thoroughly enjoyed. At the time, my ten year old daughter, Daniella, began baking me gluten-free desserts (including what has now become our Signature Brownie.) I was ecstatic when our desserts remained tasty while still gluten-free. That excitement and our love for baking inspired us to start our family business!

We began sharing our creations at Boston area food and community festivals— and we sold out again, and again and again! Soon after, Daniella’s Dandies was born.

We look back fondly on those early days and can’t help but laugh! While we have since perfected our craft, there were many burnt recipes, forgotten ingredients and oopsies along the way. We are beyond grateful for and so proud of the community we created and whom we lovingly call Dandie Land. As we continue to grow, I still personally respond to each email, phone call and DM. My husband, Jon, hand delivers every product when feasible and you’ll find both our girls proudly working our table at every community event. A true family affair.

  • Jon

I’m the guy behind the scenes. I wear many aprons just not the one you find in the kitchen. With over a decade of experience in the food industry, I knew the ins and outs of the profession which helped our family turn this passion into a thriving business.

While Christine is making sure our products taste good, I am making sure things run well. You’ll find me ordering/purchasing ingredients, labeling products, packaging, delivering and shipping products, maintaining our website and marketing updates. I even come up with new recipes! While it’s never a dull moment, being able to share this journey as a family is, well, pretty awesome.

  • Sevannah and Daniella

We like to say we’re the inspiration behind our parent’s businesses (in fact, we are…ahem… Sevannah’s Sweets and Daniella’s Dandies).

We love watching our parents create their life’s work from their love for helping others. Everyday, they show us that hard work pays off and that gluten-free doesn’t mean taste-free. Every item you see on the menu, we’ve tasted and LOVE. And our parents can attest, we are not easy critics.

Thanks for keeping our parents so busy; it limits their attention on what we may be getting into next (just kidding)! We are so lucky they are ours to keep, we love them lots and are so proud of all they do.
